Vector — a CAI Systems product

TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: 6 September 2026

1Who provides this service

Vector is provided by CAI Systems LLC (“CAI Systems”, “we”, “us”). Vector is a product of CAI Systems, not a separate company. These terms govern your use of Vector and of the pages under caisystems.dev/vector.

2What Vector is

Vector is a workflow system for original short-form video. It manages producing a piece, reviewing it, publishing it to social accounts that the account holder has connected and authorized, and retrieving performance figures for that account’s own published content.

Vector is operated by CAI Systems and is used to run our own media channels. Access is arranged directly with us. There is no public sign-up, and nothing on this site creates an account.

3Eligibility

You may use Vector only if you are legally able to enter into a contract, are using it on behalf of yourself or an organisation you are authorised to bind, and hold or are authorised to act for the social accounts you connect. You must meet the minimum age and eligibility requirements of every platform you connect.

4Connecting social accounts

Vector acts on a social account only after its holder connects it through that platform’s own authorization flow and grants the specific permissions the task requires. We ask for the narrowest permissions that will do the job.

Connecting an account is not standing permission to post to it. Each publication is a separate decision that has to be made and recorded before anything is sent.

You may disconnect an account at any time, and you may revoke Vector’s access directly in the platform’s own settings. Doing either stops further activity on that account. See the Data Deletion page for what that does and does not remove.

5Your content, and your responsibility for it

You are responsible for the content you put through Vector and for having the rights to use it. That includes rights in any footage, images, music, voices, names, likenesses and trademarks it contains, and any permissions or licences those require.

You are responsible for the content complying with the rules of every platform you publish it to, and with the law that applies to you. You are responsible for making any disclosure a platform or a regulator requires — including, where applicable, disclosing that content is synthetic or AI-generated.

6Third-party platforms

Vector integrates with third-party platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Those platforms are operated by their own companies, under their own terms and privacy policies, and your use of them is governed by those terms rather than by these.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. We name them only to identify the services Vector connects to.

A platform may change its API, its permissions, its review requirements or its rules at any time, and may suspend or remove access. Where that happens, the affected Vector functionality may stop working, with or without notice to us.

7No guarantee that a platform accepts or keeps your content

Vector submits content to a platform. It does not control what happens next. A platform may reject an upload, delay it, restrict who can see it, apply its own visibility or monetisation settings, remove it later, or take action against the account.

We do not guarantee that any piece of content will be accepted, published, made public, remain available, or reach anyone. Where a platform restricts what an application may do — for example by limiting unreviewed applications to private posting — Vector operates inside that restriction rather than around it.

8Intellectual property

Vector, this website, and the software, design and documentation behind them belong to CAI Systems. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of them to you.

You keep ownership of your own content. You grant us only the permission we need to provide the service — to store, process, transform and transmit that content in order to do what you have asked Vector to do, including publishing it to the accounts you have authorized.

9Prohibited use

You may not use Vector to:

  • post to an account you do not hold or are not authorised to act for
  • circumvent, disable or interfere with any platform's rules, rate limits, review requirements, visibility settings or security controls
  • publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing, or that impersonates a person or organisation
  • collect, scrape or process other people's private data
  • misrepresent who made content, where it came from, or whether it is synthetic
  • resell, sublicense or provide the service to a third party without our written agreement
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, or interfere with its operation

10Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Vector, and we may change these terms. Where a change materially affects you and we hold a way to reach you, we will make reasonable efforts to tell you. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.

Vector is not offered with a guaranteed level of availability. It may be unavailable for maintenance, because of a fault, or because a platform or provider it depends on is unavailable.

11Disclaimers

Vector is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result — commercial, editorial or otherwise.

12Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CAI Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of Vector.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13Termination and disconnection

You may stop using Vector at any time, disconnect any connected account, and revoke our access in the platform’s own settings.

We may suspend or end access where it is being used in breach of these terms, where a platform requires it, or where continuing would expose us or a platform to legal risk. Where circumstances allow, we will say why.

Ending access does not by itself delete data we already hold. To have that removed, see Data Deletion.
